What is your editing style?

What to wear?
Solids: Solid colors often look the best. patterns can be incorporated into the clothing but should be kept to a minimum. Many prints and stripes tend to be distracting, and you really want the focus of the photo to be on you not your clothes. The same is said for characters or text on clothing.
Form & Comfort: Choose outfits that are flattering yet comfortable. You want to accentuate your favorite parts of yourself and cover others. Example: If you are uncomfortable with how your arms look in photos, you should avoid sleeveless tops/dresses.
Balance: Keep shades similar so that the colors compliment one another.
Coordinate: I recommend coordinating, but not matching. When you match, it looks unnatural. Navy, pale blue and grey look great together for example. Cream, tan and just about any color photograph beautifully as well. As an example, suggest Dad wear a cream button down, and Mom wear a blue dress with a cream scarf to pull the outfits and colors together.
Dress for the season or environment: When choosing outfits for a shoot, take into consideration the theme or style of the shoot and choose colors accordingly, i.e. seasonal colors and weather appropriate clothing .
I highly recommend picking out one person's outfit first and then building around it. Something the person feels beautiful & comfortable in. Then build the other outfits to compliment the first.
